Nothing too exciting happening. I finished a pair of socks, but what else is new? I've technically got one more day of school, but the last day my school doesn't take attendance, so only the seniors have to go. Personally, I'm having a party. Friends+end of school+food+bacon= Sam's(Me) ideal party. Hence why this is the third year I'm having it. My group of friends for some reason, is very big on traditions. Halloween every year at Mollee's and cast parties at Rob's and summer-beginning parties at my house. It's odd, I know.
I'll take pictures if I remember. We also play keep away from the opposite sex. Fun fun!
(I didn't take pictures. However, it reminded me about another weird thing that only occurs with my friends. We regularly have very intelligent conversations about abortion, religion, etc. I know, we're weird teenagers.)
Monkeys (the pattern is hidden, I know. Next time, only I don't make things twice)
Notice that this is the yarn that I got stolen, but I had JUST enough to make these mini-Monkeys!!! I love them. I think the yarn is too thick for my tastes, though.
And I found while knitting these socks that I ssk wrong. I actually used to k2tog through the back loop. I believe you can see it here:
Wrong: (twisted decrease)
Right: (ssk)
Final got to Joann's to buy this!
And already want to make all of this:
LOVE THIS ^!!! I definitely will end up making it, even with all the seaming. It's sooooo gorgeous!!!
Maybe will make the Josephine top. Pretty, but not very practical for me. I don't really like actually wearing knitted t-shirts/tank tops.
Love this too, but I'm entirely imitated by sweaters, especially with seaming. Still love it though.
I WANT these. I plan on making them in Maine when I'm on vacation (I only knit and read and swim in Maine, hence vacation). And my LYS even has the yarn!
And look what I bought today: (the jewelry and the bag ALTOGETHER cost $8. Friggin' steal, I know!!!)
FOR ME! I love it!!!!
The necklace and bracelet above are for a present, I feel so guilty, because I got them SOOOO cheaply.
The BEST part is that the front pocket is PERFECT for holding my knitting: away from everything else and a very large pocket.
Speaking of knitting, I'm making my dad socks from Knitting Vintage Socks. Yarn is Trekking XXL, sorta thin, but I really like it.
I know they look a little thin. But I shall try them on him before I finish them.
Anyways, I'm making up for the lack of posts for about a week. Sorry it's so long!
