Mittens That Don't Match

I went home and found this shiny box waiting for me. I asked my step grandfather to make it for me, but I wasn't expecting this gorgeous piece of furniture.



I love it, and I'm sure that I'll have it for a very long time.

I finished a mitten! Out of my handspun!!!



I love it. It's blocking as I write this. I'll start another before I go to class tomorrow.

I have a half a thumb left on the polka dot mitten.... but sadly, the second is much bigger then the first. But I'm hoping it'll be acceptable for me to wear them together, I plan on felting the big one down a little. Pictures once I finish the thumb and weave everything in. Agrrhhh. Oh well.
