FO: Leyna's Socks

A long time ago, I made socks for my best friend (1 of 2), un-matching, one rainbow, and one purple/blue. This was for graduation, in JUNE. It's now JANUARY. And I just finished the socks for best friend #2, Leyna.

Pattern: Details here, but the rainbow one is a Anastasia sock, not hedgerow.
Yarn: Rainbow: My handyed, Purple: Life in Lilt Creation Sock, less then 1/2 of each skein used.
Needles: Knitpicks circ, 2.25mm

I've also gotten somewhere with the hat, and I love it! Still don't know if I'll have enough yarn or if it'll be slouchy enough. I have 20 less sts then the pattern calls for!

Oh, and I redyed the yarn that had white spots, and while it's still variegated, (not semi-solid) it's better. My plain is for a Selbu Modern with some left over sock yarn, and the stuff that I just dyed. I also have TONS of other stuff I need to knit -mostly gifts and things I've promised to people, but really, I thought the gifting season was over!

Well, better late than never!

Ooh, prettyprettypretty hat. Is your handspun thick-and-thin, or is that just the cabling pattern? 'Tis verra nice.

And yay for the re-dyed sock yarn!

Is it ok to like one of the socks better than the other or will that make the other sock just feel bad? Well, I do think both socks are fantastic and well knit, but I think that Anastasia is incredible in both color and pattern and the color and pattern put together. Please don't tell Hedgerow though, ok???
