How I Do The Fingers!

So I finished one of the flaps, but I do feel like the flap is placed wrong. I don't know, but I'm going to wait til my dad approves them tomorrow to continue - it took me a bit of a night (which was just picking up the stitches) and two 50-minute classes to finish. And I do need to take that little bit of I-cord at the top and sew it into a loop and find some little black buttons.

Someone commented about the glove's fingers and how nice and tight they were, and I wanted to share how I do that. I don't know if others do it, but when I pick up stitches, I pick up three or four for each st I'm supposed to pick up, and knit all those together through the back loop, so I never really have to sew up between the fingers (at least generally). And! I use magic loop. I find I knit much tighter magic looping with the Knitpicks nickel circulars (which are AWESOME). So, that's why the fingers are really tight.

Hopefully, I'll get the okay from dad, and I'll finish these up tomorrow!

Thanks for the info about the fingers. Picking up extra stitches is a great idea! I think that will solve my problem. The gloves are looking great!
