Shawls are Now My Sweaters

Not that I'll be wearing only shawls instead of sweaters - as in I think shawls are as to me as most knitters are to sweaters.
So therefore I conclude: Sam:shawls as MOST knitters:sweaters.

But this really gets me in a tizzy. I can NOT make a shawl for my boyfriend. I don't even think gay men wear shawls, and he is NOT gay, in any way.

Look. It makes me very, very happy.

You know what does not make me happy? That lovely lace edging needs to be repeated about 70-ish more times. Ack. At least I don't have to bind off after that, though.

I don't know what I'd rather do. Pick up 600+ stitches or bind off 600+ stitches...! :P
