Yes, these are from the same bit of roving. The top is for the heel stitches, and the middle/bottom is for the rest of the socks. I love this yarn, and I oiled my wheel last night - what a difference!
Hopefully those stripes will translate nicely into socks!
And I finished the Rick sock from Cookie A's book!
I love it. It's a little short, but my feet are so long I knit 6 or so rows past the foot chart and it seemed long enough.
Yes I've had two days off after working a measly one day - hence the posting! I think I'm working tomorrow, and then all next week!
