Hey, Try seed stitch! It's simple enough, but complex enough that it keeps your mind occupied . .. or maybe little itty-bitty cables, strung around it in a sort of zig-ziaggy order . .. funnily enough, I have to make a sweater vest for my tall brother, with what seems to be at least the same color and weight of yarn .. . where'd you buy it? what'd the ball-band say??? anyway, try that! there is no law saying you can't do something on the darn vest!
